Karl Dorn Inventor

Former Butlins Redcoat, Karl is a plasterer by day and inventor by night. His idea for the Standby Plug came about in 2006. He entered his idea into an online competition sponsored by Vodafone and SkyOne called The Big Idea. He scooped the £10K first prize in January 2007. The plug is due out soon.
