We offer several different types of Courses to suit your needs

It does not matter if you have little or no experience. male or female

this course is not like colleage, where your left alone for hours on end .These courses are on a 1to1 or at most a 1to2 basis, giving you full minute to minute tuition,getting the maximum amount of learning out of your time.

All courses run from 9am-4pm

Two day Course (Available over Weekends)

This Plastering Course is ideal for renovation projects and DIY enthusiasts.

The practical skills you gain over the first day, Include, familiarisation of the tools

you will be working with. Being able to gauge mixtures are correct, use of the hawk and trowel,

apply backing coat and skim coat to patching areas, achieving a decratable finish.

Day 2, you will apply scrim tape to ceiling edges and board joints, finishing with a skim coat on plasterboard walls.

If you have a particular area in plastering you would prefer to cover, we will endeavour to accommodate this.

Three day Course

This course as with the two day includes the fundamentals, i.e., mixtures and hawk and trowel use

but is based more on skimming of larger wall and ceiling areas.

Cutting and setting angle beads, mastering ceiling lines, internal corners and window reveals.

Five day Course

This course aims to start with the fundamentals

leading to you feeling competent with plastering projects alone.

covering the skills of boarding ceilings, walls and skimming with two coat finish.

Setting beads and mastering corners.

Dealing with obstacles i.e.: doorframes, windows and sockets.

Preparing existing plastered wall with PVA, for over skimming.

Applying backing plasters to block, brick and finishing off areas with two coat multifinish plaster.
